It's been a long time since my last post and with the new year comes a new start for OGMA and me.
Development has been quiet for the last 2 months due to workload and some sites I've been developing with OGMA.
So starting today I'll be doing regular (at least once a week) updates on the blog on the latest developments and where we are.
So I've redone the backend again, this time using AdminLTE template for the base.
Other than that I have 25 minor updates that I will fix over the next couple of weeks to ready the next major beta release 0.5.
Some of those big updates are:
New Gallery Plugin for full gallery admin
Page/Blog Create/Modified/Published Dates
Table sorting to all views (Pages might be a bit tricky as we have subpages)
improved File manager
It's been a while since I've updated the blog with what's happening with the project.
Over the last couple of months I've been working away on 3 live sites and using the experience of building those to fine tune the core and add new features which should be released in the next release 0.4beta in the next week or 2.
Customfields allow you to expand the internal tables of OGMA and add new fields. Say for example you wanted to allow each of your users to a a bio about themselves which could then be used on the site as an "About the Author" Section
So, what started out a plugin for GetSimple CMS (the Matrix) and after nearly 14 months of promises I finally got around to releasing some Beta code for OGMA up on Github.
Its a fully featured, flat file XML based Content Management System. Built with and for the Bootstrap framework it includes many features out of the box to get your site up and running in minutes.
